Theodosia Chatoglou was born in Athens in September 1977. She studied Italian literature and art
history at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and completed her studies with a seven-month
residency in Siena, Tuscany. Her artistic career led her to Cádiz, Spain, where she had the chance to study next to the Atlantic Ocean. Her four-year long stay in Andalusia and the attendance of many contemporary art seminars developed her as an artist and led her to organize a series of exhibitions in Greece and
abroad.
In 2018, she set up the social cooperative company Prayer of Colors Koin.S.Ep, where Art, through
painting and other creative activities, becomes a vehicle for soul elevation, an educational tool, and
a form of therapy.
Her artworks signed as ‘Hija de la luz’ have already contributed to the reconfiguration and
decoration of both public and private healthcare facilities, hospitals, waiting rooms and clinics, as
well as educational facilities, special needs schools, hotels and restaurants.
Her artistic expression is based on “visual prayers”, a method she created in 2003.
Through the application of harmonic geometry, the use of a rich palette of colours and designs, and
the conscious intention of healing qualities, through the Word, the therapeutic, educational and
uplifting work in is supported.

The anguish of the world seen through the stubbornness of joy… how long can grief last?
All the details seen with love become important. Nothing is the same any more, nothing is small
or insignificant. Anything simple and humble is projected as unique and special participating in a
celebration of color and joy.
The art of Theodosia is an invitation to this feast and the invitee feels
blessed and favoured for the joy he discovers bubbling up from his soul like holy wine.

“PRAYER OF COLORS social cooperative enterprise” was founded in 2018 with the aim of mentally uplifting hospitalised patients and teaching young people
through visual art.
It is active in the fields of Culture, Arts and Education. Its main focus is the redesign and decoration of public and private health
care facilities, hospitals, waiting rooms and clinics. The works that decorate these spaces are distinguished by their richness of color, the
play of shapes of “sacred geometry” and the aura of tranquillity and the healing energy of which they are abundant. These paintings of “PRAYER
OF COLORS KOIN. S. Ltd.”, are signed by Hija de la luz, the exceptional and specialized artist with many years of experience in Greece and abroad
(Tuscany/Andalusia) in hospitals, clinics and special schools.
Her painting expression is based on “visual prayers”, a method she created herself in 2003.

Project “Woman”
The project of PRAYER OF COLORS KOIN. S. E.P., through a specific cycle of works that relate to the female principle in all phases, maternity, birth,
breastfeeding supports the woman in the sensitive periods of her life.
The paintings dedicated to the Feminine Essence, have as their themes the anatomy of the Woman, the menstrual cycles, Fertility, Conception,
Pregnancy, etc. in an expressive way that is pleasant and stimulating, aimed at remembering the feminine Power and the inner Knowledge. The
woman carries through gestation, but more broadly through creation, the new codes and institutions of the society in question, but this is often forgotten.
It is our duty as a society to remember the Miracle that she embodies, because from her will come the fruits that will evolve us as a society. She deserves infinite care from all of us, providing the right conditions and the necessary environment, in which she feels safe, close to her wisdom and
her inner compass. The Visual Prayers with the signature ‘Hija de la luz’ through Colors, Patterns and the Word offer important nourishing
ingredients for the Nervous System of Woman.
Artworks of this project have already transformed the following hospitals permanently or in the form of a temporary exhibition:
– Hospital “AGIA OLGA” – Gynaecology and Obstetrics Clinic
– Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinic “REA”
– Many Gynaecological Offices
Another action of PRAYER OF COLORS concerning Women is the organization of innovative motivational seminars with the aim of
remembrance as well as seminars of creative visualization through painting.

Project “Mental Health”
The healing effect of the arts was already known in antiquity, from Asclepius. The environment unconsciously influences the guest because
there is a living interaction. Hospitals, clinics and healthcare facilities are by definition overwhelmed with stress, anxiety, pain and fear. So healing
as a result of many factors clearly comes from science, but also from feeding the nervous system through art and specific qualities such as joy,
a sense of safety, care and empowerment. Art enhances brain function and nourishes the nervous system, which has been now scientifically
proven.
The patient surrounded by these paintings comes closer to his or her strength (vigour) through the remembrance of the Whole, and is therefore treated as a wholeness, body and soul. Artworks of this project have adorned the Department of Inpatient Hospitalization (TEN)/Child Psychiatric Clinic of the Children’s Hospital “Agia Sophia” and the Special School of Corinth.
Also, since the 12th of October 2022 Prayer of Colors has undertaken the wonderful and promising project of decorating two Social Welfare Centres
in Athens at Aghia Varvara and Melissia. Thanks to the kind donation of ‘ΤΙΜΑ Charitable Foundation’ we have started to transform spaces such as living rooms, corridors and rooms where “our” old people with various ailments are in many cases bedridden and their lives are confined in four walls.
It was also decided and approved by all the members of ”PRAYEROFCOLORS KOIN.S.E.” through minute no.4, the donation of copies of paintings to the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinic of the General Hospital of Nikaia Piraeus “Agios Panteleimon”. The purpose is to decorate the corridors and some of the hospital rooms of this Clinic. For this project we already have the permission of the hospital administrator, Mr. Anastasiou Mytoglou, as well as the Director and the Head of the clinic, Mrs. Imeridou Irini, who has chosen the artworks that will decorate the rooms.
In addition, we have the approval of the hospital administrator Mr. Gregorios Karpouzis for the decoration of the corridors of the Gynaecological and Psychiatric Clinic of the General Hospital of Corinth, as well as the approval of the Director Mr. Konstantinos
Velentzas, who selects the paintings according to the needs and specifications of this clinic. The gifts of art are infinite and certainly highly
therapeutic.
“PRAYER OF COLORS and CHILDREN”
Children seek out communication and interaction through non-verbal ways, like colors, sounds, sounds, patterns, symbols, vibrations and any
perception through their senses.
Children feed on their senses, they perceive reality with their bodies and not with their minds, every cell of their body responds positively to an
appropriate and aesthetically beautiful stimulus and the opposite happens when the surrounding space is either untidy or too “loaded” with strong stimuli.
Especially when we are talking about health spaces, where a child is already burdened, we need to pay even more attention to the way we choose to connect with him/her and the mental nourishment we offer him/her. That moment puts you in a process of inventing and creating,
because otherwise he would not respond. What every child knows is how to resonate with his environment, either animate or inanimate. The child
vibrates to the frequency of the present, the Creator. Children only live in the present moment.
PRAYER OF COLORS has designed and implemented several educational activities for our little ones, but has also contributed to the creation of a
more beautiful environment in places such as Children’s Hospitals.
The artworks of Social Cooperative Enterprise, printed either on canvas or on forex material, are being displayed in various places, such as:
1) The entrance of the Special School of Corinth, with a composition of 12 artworks printed on forex material.
2) The Gynaecology and Obstetrics Clinic of the General Hospital of Nea Ionia (Agia Olga), with 2 sets of 9 artworks each, printed on kappa mount material.
3) Lounges and rooms of the Agia Varvara Social Welfare Center, courtesy of the Tima Charitable Foundation.
4) Halls, rooms, stairwells and corridors of the Social Welfare Center of Melissia.
5) The entrance and waiting areas of the Loutraki Health Center.
6) The 6th primary school of Metamorfosi. ‘Nemesis’ artwork is being displayed there, an artwork that was specially designed to honor the local history of the Municipality. On the installation day, an interactive history workshop for children took place to bring history to life and encourage children to know more about their past.
7) Various meditation retreats in Greece, France and Belgium.
8) Doctors’ and clinics’ waiting areas in Greece and Portugal.
9) Language schools in both Greece and Cyprus.
10) In many bars and hotels in both France and Sardinia.
